Creation of Eve (fol. 121r)
Description
The historiated initial 'H' shows Eve, apaprently at the moment of her creation from Adam's side, reaching up in prayer to God, who is clad in a red poined papal tiara and red garments. Adam reclines in the foreground. The border has a putto, pea flowers, butterflies, daisies, pinks, strawberries, an iris, speedwells and acanthus leaves.
