Virgin Mary (?) (fol. 156v)
Description
The initial 'H', composed of acanthus foliage, is inhabited with the praying Virgin Mary, or possibly a nun, clad in a blue dress with white cuffs and a white head-dress. There are 1-line initials alternating in gold and blue for the various saints, and line-fillers in gold, blue and red. Context: Litany: Heer ontferme di onser Criste
