Christ blind-folded (fol. 70r)
Description
The border is historiated with the scene of Christ being humiliated by three soldiers. One of them holds a blind-fold over his eyes, another holds up three of his fingers challenging Christ's knowledge, and the third one holds a rope tied around Christ's wrists. The border is decorated with an columbine and pink daisies. There is an initial 'H' composed of acanthus foliage. Context: Hours of the Holy Cross: Te prijm tijd: Heer Ihesu Criste wi aenbeden
