Loton trade card
Description
Highly pictorial 18th century engraved trade card of Loton [James Loton]. Large hatched oval panel filling card, with Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom and motto 'Dieu et mon droit' in centre. Flowers and draped ribbon inscribed with trader details hang from rectangular frame. Remains of previous brown paper mount and glue present on reverse. Transcription: LOTON Glazier to his Majefty [Majesty] King Street, Weftnr [Westminster]. Painting in all its Branches.
