Description
Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of Bryant [William Bryant] in green ink. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Coat of Arms of the East India Company and motto 'Auspicio Regis et Senatus Angliae' at top of card. Image in each corner of card (clockwise from top left) vase, jug, teapot and urn. Transcription: BRYANT's East India Repository and FOREIGN CHINA WAREHOUSE. 38, Ludgate Hill from St Pauls Church Yd [Yard]. JAPAN SCREENS, CABINETS, BRONZES, PAINTINGS &C. India Matting fitted to Rooms. Gongs, Carvings, Marquees, Tents.
