Sheep Washing: Outgang Beck
Description
Sheep washing on Outgang Beck at Thornton Rust ( Wensleydale). A farmer throws a sheep from the stone fold into the washpool. This view shows the back of the point at which the beck has been blocked, with the deep washpool on one side, and low water of the stream on the other.
