Sheep washing on Outgang Beck at Thornton Rust ( Wensleydale). A farmer throws a sheep from the stone fold into the washpool. View showing the dammed beck with deep washpool on one side and low water of the beck on the other. One of a strip of 6 contact prints. The contact prints of sheep washing on Outgang Beck were not originally held in the Photo File with the mounted sheep washing prints.
