Gathering Sheep for Washing: Outgang Beck
Description
Sheep being gathered into the stone fold on the edge of the washpool at the old sheep washing place on Outgang Beck at Thornton Rust ( Wensleydale). The farmers due to undertake the sheep washing are also entering the fold. One of a strip of 6 contact prints. The contact prints of sheep washing on Outgang Beck were not originally held in the Photo File with the mounted sheep washing prints.
