Wilson, blacksmith at Edzell, Angus (July 1971); J. Wentworth Day's article, 'The Need for a School of Farriery' , extracted from 'Country Life' (20 July 1967), p. 132; and mounted magazine and newspaper cuttings on blacksmiths' shoeing-stones, horseshoe doorways, various aspects of blacksmithing, knife-grinders and Lucy Woodall, a female chainmaker.
