This file contains typed correspondence from W. L. Goodman to Stewart Sanderson and Tony Green on the terminology of woodworkers' tools from the 16th and 17th centuries (23 December 1972 - 6 April 1973); a copy of W. L. Goodman's article, 'Bristol Carpenters' Nails, 1492-1586' , reprinted from an unidentified issue of 'The Mariners' Mirror' (ca. November 1973), pp. 437-442, and a typed copy of the same (6 leaves); and a photocopy of a list of four historical woodworking-related terms from Norwich and Bristol, with information on origins and etymology ([4] leaves). File arranged as found.
