Clog Factory: Uppers, Leather Strips and Wooden Soles
Description
Wooden clog soles, leather strips and completed leather uppers, stacked up and awaiting being nailed together by the clogger, at F. Walkley's clog factory, Huddersfield. The narrow leather strips will be placed over the upper and sole before they are nailed together. Unmounted. This photograph was taken during a field visit as part of the Museums Association Diploma Curatorial Course in Folk Life and Local History.
