Clog Factory: Finishing Room
Description
Clogger nailing rubber grips to wooden clog soles prior to the uppers being attached, at F. Walkley's clog factory, Huddersfield. Various tools are visible, including the clogger's hammer and pliers. Stacks of rubber grips and wooden soles are visible on top of and below the clogger's bench. Unmounted. This photograph was taken during a field visit as part of the Museums Association Diploma Curatorial Course in Folk Life and Local History.
