Surrender Smelting Mill: Flue
Description
Remains of the long underground flue which runs to the chimney at Surrender Smelting Mill, Surrender Bridge, Arkengarthdale. The chimney was built at some distance from the mill in order to avoid damage to herbage on the lower-lying sheep grazing grounds. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P0922. With ms. note.
