Description
Copy of a photograph taken in 1910, of a group of 12 miners with tub and winch (for carrying lead ore out of the mines), at the Nut Hole Level, Faggergill Mine, Faggergill Moor, ( Arkengarthdale). The miners are all wearing clogs. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note. The miners in this photograph appear to be the same as those feature in LAVC/PHO/P0934, namely Ralph Harker, P. Demain, Ben Hall, W. Longstaffe, G. Harker, R. Hird, A. Stones, J. W. Waller, M. Allsop, J. W. Hird, R. Longstaffe and J. Allsop. Originally held in Photo File: Mining.
