Miners and Washing Shed
Description
Copy of a photograph taken in 1910, of a group of lead miners outside the washing shed at Nut Hole Level, Faggergill Mine, Faggergill Moor ( Arkengarthdale). The names of the miners featured in the photograph have been added in ms. directly onto the print. The miners in the photograph are Ralph Harker, P. Demain, Ben Hall, W. Longstaffe, G. Harker, R. Hird, A. Stones, J. W. Waller, M. Allsop, J. W. Hird, R. Longstaffe and J. Allsop. These miners also feature in LAVC/PHO/P0933. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note.
