Description
The photographs in this file show farming scenes (hay gathering, PC1022, PC1053, PC1060), stone barn and cow shed constructions (PC0268, PC0269, PC0275, PC0277), cheesemaking (PC1519), buttermaking (PC1484, PC1493, PC1500), a milk carrier (PC1556) and ropemaking (PC1240, PC1242, PC1256, PC1250, PC1251, PC1259) in North Yorkshire, and sea fishing equipment from Scotland(PC0473 and P2087), and Cornwall(PC0472). The photographs are grouped together by subject. Some have original reference numbers marked in pencil on the reverse, and where apparent this order has been retained.
