Also issued by the English Dialect Society, 1875-82. The publication of a third and concluding part to contain chapters on the literature, grammar and pronunciation of the dialect [etc.] announced in a Prefatory note to pt.II was abandoned (cf. English Dialect Society). The two parts of the Glossary are paged continuously, p.123 being repeated in pt.II. "Authorities": p. [xi]-xv.
