Forms with W. W. Skeat's Nine specimens of English dialects [Publications. no.76] vol. XXXII of the society's Publications. Edited from a manuscript (ca. 1751-91) in possession of Skeat. "Introduction: part II" by Thomas Hallam, includes a sketch of "Whittington and district", a "Memoir of the Rev. Dr. Pegge" by his son Samuel, and an "Account of his writings" p. li-lvi. "Books referred to": p. xx-xxii.
