Y. Mather of the Linguistic Survey of Scotland, Richard W. Feacham of the Ordnance Survey, J. T. Coppickof the School of the Built Environment, University of Edinburgh, and others, and copy correspondence from Hans Kurath, concerning the production of LAE maps (February 1968-January 1972); photocopied press cuttings on plans for the LAE and related correspondence (November 1971); and miscellaneous correspondence relating to the Survey of English Dialects (SED) (February 1968; November 1971; October 1972). The arrangement of the file is roughly chronological and by subject matter.
