Floral border (fol. 124v)
Description
The 'Subvenite sancti Dei' begins with a 3-line initial 'S' in blue on a gold ground. The border in the upper and lower margins is in designs of little coloured flowers and leaves among burnished gold ivy leaves on black hairline stems. A colum border in the middle of the page is composed of a bar-frame of gold and blue/pink vine, from which short hairline tendrils spring holding small golden balls and leaves.
