Floral border (fol. 115v)
Description
Rinceau border with acanthus leaves, periwinkles, thistles, barbed quatrefoils, roses, and black hairline tendrils with gold ivy leaves and pine cones. Bar-frame border in rose/blue and gold. 3-line initial in blue with white penwork ornamentation, infilled with curved vine in a heart shape, on a gold ground. Several 1-line initials alternating in blue and gold, with ornamentation in red and black. Context: Penitential psalms: Psalm 6: Domine ne in furore tuo arguas
