Description
Incomplete handknitted woollen item (possibly a sock or stocking) made by Mrs. Jane Metcalfe of Keld ( Swaledale). The knitting sits on a low wooden stool, and is attached to traditional curved needles. Mounted on Photo File card. With typed note. Originally held in Photo File: Knitting.
