Copy of a late-19th century photograph of Betty Metcalfe and Kit Metcalfe knitting cycling stockings with fancy tops outside their home in Gayle ( Wensleydale). Kit and Betty Metcalfe were among the best remembered Gayle handknitters. Mounted on Photo File card. With typed note. Originally held in Photo File: Knitting.
