Knitted Gloves and Mittens
Description
Handknitted glove and mitten made by Miss Mary Hartley of Askrigg ( Wensleydale), and traditional curved knitting needles. The glove is patterned and made of fine wool. The mitten is made of oily, natural wool of a much coarser texture, and is knitted large in order to be shrunk to the requisite size. Mounted on Photo File card. With typed note.
