Two Stirlingshire Hero-Combat Plays
Description
This file contains a pamphlet published by the University of Stirling in 1980, containing the texts of two hero-combat plays from the Stirlingshire area. These are 'Galations', as printed in a pamphlet edited by James Maidment and published in Edinburgh in 1835; and 'Galoshins', as performed by Andrew Rennie, a retired blacksmith, at Kippen in December 1979.
