Description
Harold Orton's (draft and final version) scripts used in his BBC radio broadcasts on the English language and dialect. These include interviews with Orton by other people, and single programmes and series presented by him. The sub-subseries also includes correspondence relating to the content and timing of programmes, fees paid to Orton, as well as written responses to his broadcasts from members of the general public.
