This file comprises items containing biographical information on individual folklorists. It includes a black and white photograph, mounted on a specially-printed card, of Professor Jan Brunvand (Department of Folklore, University of Utah) at Brunvath ( Brunnvatn), Norway, 1974; a photocopied obituary of Dora Yates from 'The Times', 18 January 1974; a photocopied obituary of Harald Hvarfner (in Swedish) from the 'Svenska Dagbladet', 18 January 1975; a photocopied obituary of Bob Pegg from the 'Yorkshire Post', 13 December 1975; a press cutting with an obituary of Wilfrid J. Halliday, extracted from the 'Yorkshire Post', [1978]; and a press cutting with an obituary of Professor J. H. Delargy (i.e. Séamus Ó Duilearga), extracted from 'The Times', 4 July 1980. The file is arranged chronologically.
