This includes printed biographical details of Orton's education and career, possibly from/for a biographical dictionary (n.d.; 3 copies; possibly a proof); a photocopy of Orton's entry in 'Who's Who' (1972); an article on Orton and 'A Word Geography of England', extracted from 'The Guardian' (London edition), 21 February 1975, and an extracted letter responding to the article (n.d.); obituaries of Orton extracted from the 'Yorkshire Post', the 'Daily Telegraph' and 'The Guardian' (2 copies) on 10 March 1975; an obituary of Orton extracted from 'The Times' (2 copies) on 11 March 1975; a tribute to Orton written by A.C.C. and S.E.
