Description
The double-compartment miniature has a falconer, and the zodiacal sign of Gemini with the twins behind a coat of arms in red (gules). The scenes in the historiated border are: a king kneeling by a cross, possibly relating to the feast of the Finding of the Holy Cross; Sts Philip the Apostle and James the Less; and St. John the Apostle with a chalice and a palm branch.
