Description
The double-compartment miniature has a man knocking acorns out of oak-trees, and the zodiacal sign of Sagittarius (the archer). The scenes in the historiated border are: a corpse lying on a bed (All Souls); All Saints; and St Martin on horseback cutting his cloak in half to share it with a beggar. Context: Calendar: November
