Annunciation to the Shepherds (fol. 83v)
Description
Three angels announcing the birth of Christ appear in the sky to three shepherds. Two of the shepherds, holding their staffs, shield their eyes from the angels' brightness. Another shepherd kneels in prayer. A dog and a flock of sheep surround the shepherds. The rural landscape is hilly, and a town is seen in the distance.
