Psalm 24 (fol. 91r)
Description
Example of a text page with a decorated initial in blue on a gold ground, and infilled with a flower vine, and smaller initials in gold on blue and red grounds. Line-fillers are in the style of the initials. The border, in the outer margin, is decorated with a pink thistle, red tulips, heartsease and curling acanthus leaves. Context: Hours of the Virgin: Sext: Qui confidunt in Domino (psalm 24)
