Care and Management of Livestock
Description
This subseries contains items relating to the care and management of livestock on farms, including papers, and magazine and newspaper cuttings (chiefly from 'Country Life'), which focus largely on horses, cattle and sheep, but also include information on geese, bees and dogs. The subseries also includes a two-volume photographic study of a hill farm in Littondale, North Yorkshire, and responses to Ingemar Liman's questionnaire on hill grazing in the Yorkshire Dales.
