Adoration of the Magi (fol. 55v)
Description
In this full-page miniature the three Magi offer gold, frankincense and myrrh to the Virgin and Child. The eldest king (Caspar) kneels in front of the Christ Child. Joseph stays in the staple in the background. The star that guided the Wise Men to the Christ Child shines in the sky.
