Description
In this full-page miniature the dove of the Holy Ghost descends upon the Virgin, who is kneeling at the altar, and the Apostles, assembled around her. Rays, painted in gold, descend from the dove. The border is formed from architectural pillars supporting the statues of two apostles. Context: Hours of the Holy Spirit: Domine labia mea aperies
