Salmon Coble under Berwick Pier
Description
Seven men manoeuvering a salmon coble on slipway under Berwick pier on the River Tweed (Northumberland). The coble is an example of the heavier four-oared boat used in the seaway at the mouth of the river. Mounted on Photo File card. With typed note. Originally held in Photo File: Salmon Fishing.
