Description
Photocopied transcripts of recordings made with dry stone wallers. The transcripts relating to George Roberts, Mr A. Leslie Maxfield and Myers Johnson have correspondsing audio files with further information, but those of James Fisher and Mr C. Henry Jones do not. The former cannot be traced and the latter has a note on that says the tape has been erased. Fisher was interviewed in Thurgoland on 23 February 1973, and Jones was interviewed in Fishbeck (near Silsden) on the 1 February 1973. Also included in this file is a loose sheet of notes relating to C. Henry Jone's interview, and two orginal folders, one of which refers to Margaret Brooks' thesis on the subject.
