Description
St. Catherine is shown with a sword and wheel, the attributes of her martydom. She is holding a book, a symbol of her wisdom. The emperor who ordered her execution lies at her feet. The border is decorated with a grotesque and flowers. Context: Hours of Saint Catherine: Domine labia mea aperies
