War Verse
Description
This file contains a photocopy of ms. pages from a war diary kept by Morgan John Shearman, a member of the Royal Army Medical Corps attached to the South Wales Borderers during World War One. The diary pages include the words to a hymn to be sung by troops in Egypt during the summer of 1917, and the poem 'A Disillusion', about Welsh soldiers in the war. Both were apparently written by Shearman.
