Description
Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet. Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker Peter Wright. There are six informants for this response book - Hollins Smith, George Greenwood, Joseph Helliwell, Herbert Pickles, William Horsfall and John Bentley.
