This subseries consists of papers relating to the editing of fieldwork data collected in Southern England, in preparation for the publication of the Survey of English Dialects (SED) Southern Counties Basic Material volume. It includes ms. notes, typed drafts, corrected copy, printers' sheets, papers relating to symbols required, and ms. errata and addenda.
