Description
The letters in this file comprise enquiries regarding the purchase of Stewart Sanderson's 'Catalogue of Theses and Dissertations in Folk Life Studies in the University of Leeds 1961-1970', and requests for copies of individual theses. Some of the correspondence is between Sanderson and individual correspondents, with Susan Drury's ms. action notes marked on the letters (after September 1983, when the Institute closed and she became Librarian in the School of English at Leeds). The file also contains letters written to Tom Shippey, acting curator of the Institute's archive following closure, passed to Susan Drury. Letters filed in chronological order.
