Floral border (fol. 218v)
Description
3-line initial 'D' in gold, decorated with blue penwork. 1/4 bar-frame border in gold and red/blue. The rest of the border is decorated with hairline tendrils supporting barbed quatrefoils, trefoils, golden pine cones, and small green leaves. Attached to the fore-edge of the leaf is a small green fabric button marking a division of the text. Context: Communion of saints
