S. Bristowe's paper, 'The Spider in Art and Legend', reprinted from the 'I.C.I. Magazine' (May 1949), [4] pp.; and mounted magazine and newspaper cuttings from the 'Mainichi Daily News' (Tokyo), 'Country Life', the 'Countryman' and 'The Guardian', on Buddhist animal burial customs, stoats and weasels and terminology, fox behaviour, terms for groups of birds and the use of frogs in weather-forecasting. File contents retained in original classification order, and chronologically within this.
