Description
This file contains cuttings from the 'Plants in Folklore' series published in 'Amateur Gardening' (?in the 1960s). The series was written by A. J. Huxley and illustrated by G. R. Kingbourn, and each part includes information on the lore of two common plants. The file also contains articles by Huxley and Kingbourn on the rose in folklore and history, and holly and ivy, extracted from 'Amateur Gardening', 31 July 1965 and 25 December 1965 respectively. File arranged as found.
