Portrait of Clara Anastasia Novello
Description
An undated glazed and framed pencil portrait of Clara Anastasia Novello by her brother Edward Petre Novello. It is unfinished below the shoulder, with the details of her dress loosely sketched. The frame has a gilt surface and the mount has rounded edges and a gold border. On the reverse are two labels written in Italian in later hands, which identify the sitter and the artist.
