Chimney of Dwelling House at Spennithorne
Description
Chimney of stone dwelling house at Spennithorne ( Wensleydale). The chimney is large in size compared to the house, and projects from the wall. An ms. note in Werner Kissling's hand suggests that it may have been added to the house to safeguard against a thatched roof catching fire. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P0337. Ms. catalogue details in Kissling's hand. Originally held in Photo File: The Dwelling House.
