Description
This file contains papers written by students of the Institute of Dialect and Folk Life Studies (IDFLS) during an exercise forming part of the undergraduate degree in Folk Life Studies. The students were expected to interview informants on meals, how they were arranged, what food was eaten, special occasions, local dishes, drinks, food for visitors, behaviour whilst eating and traditional methods of food preparation (including preserving, seasonal foods, baking and pig-killing). The file includes papers by Patrick Davies, Ann Marie Lahteela, Jonathan Niman, Frances Pearman, Rosalind Withers and Peter S. White. File arranged alphabetically by author.
