Description
Swaledale sheep in a sheep fold/pen, some shorn and others awaiting shearing, Apedale (North Yorkshire). A shearer can be seen throwing wound fleeces into the back of a truck. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P0740. With ms. notes in the hand of Werner Kissling. Originally held in Photo File: Sheep Shearing.
