Description
This file includes typed lists of Survey of English Dialects (SED) localities recorded with questionnaire and audio-tape to the end of October 1959; typed notes listing untraced fieldwork recordings and recordings not immediately accessible to fieldworkers; typed memos on the SED sound recording programme signed by Stewart Sanderson, Margaret Jackson and Clive Upton; and a photocopied list of SED localities with ms. annotations relating to untraced sound recordings. The file is arranged chronologically.
